Most of the things I've heard on the Pioneers has been pretty good. Haven't looked into the others too much but word on the streets is the Kickers are good.
......i used to have he pioneers and it was pretty good.
Any idea where I could get my grubby little hands on one of those boxes. I realize I could order them off the internet, but I have no credit card, and can't get a paypal account. Parents tend to ruin that kind of fun.
Is there an alpine type S shallow sub? or does the type S just have shallow mounting requirements?
I've got my eye on the new Alpine SWS-1243D, I'm not sure how shallow it is compared to some of the other slim ones. But crutchfield canada has them on their site for $180, and I think there's some good reviews out there so far.
Certinly not the cheapest option. But you may want to wait for the JL Audio thin woofers. I have not heard them myself, but the company builds some the best subs around. Might be worth a look?
