I was actually thinking of doing a blowthrough almost exactly like biggunner's, very nice work btw, I got the idea for doing a blowthrough without a tonneau from your page a while back. I'm using 4 clif design CD120C(some kick *** subs). I was wondering if I dulled or rounded over the cut edges I could use some sort of a neoprene like material as my boot, which is significantly less money than this canopy stuff which i've seen for as high as 20 bucks a foot. I guess neoprene rots in sunlight, but its cheap enough I can replace it if need be. Thanks for the help.

i just called canopy west and they shipped it out and i had it the next day. i only used 9 feet so it cost around 72 bux plus a couple dollars for freight. i used the 6 inch stuff but if i remember threy also had 3 inch which would almost work better, the 6 inch is all compressed plus the 3 is cheaper yet. btw if you plan on going without a tonneau, you should seal up the box good, i got mine done at Armaguard spray in boxliners.

hippo-liner hehe? no haven't tried it, but stay away from the duplicolor stuff. a local hardware store used it on a door frame (of the store) and it looked like flat black paint.

Ok I talked to the people at Sound Obs, and they said that you can't do a spray on box liner blow through, or at least the ones they've done had leaked. I dunno how that manages to happen, maybe its just the way they put it on, or how they used the stuff to seal. I'm just thinking, if your truck box has the liner, and your sub box has the liner on all sides, if you put it in, and sealed it tight, how is it water could leak in? Have you had any problems Biggunner? Or has your box even been exposed to moisture yet?
