Bluetooth and USB pitch fluctuation?
Hi folks,
Hoping someone might shed a little light. I recently had a Kenwood KDC-BT568U unit installed in my '05 Subary Impreza. I love the convenience, but I've noticed on occasion what sounds like slight momentary fluctuations in speed / pitch. Just a little warble, like tape speed or warped vinyl, but I'm both a musician and an audio engineer (without much competent level knowledge and zero car / consumer audio knowledge) , so I'm sensitive to it.
This happens with both USB connection and Bluetooth.
I have no idea of the connection protocol, but could it be something like digital clock fluctuation? It happens when standing still, so it's not related to moving. I never noticed it with the stock stereo.
I could, perhaps, just be hearing things. But I thought I'd reach out so see if anyone had experienced this.
Thanks!
