Have any of you guys had any good experiences with certain speakers in a boat? I'm starting to put together a little system for my boat, and was just wondering which types hold up to constant exposure to water.

Thanks,
Warren.

I have worked in the business for 6 years and I have still yet to see a decent marine grade speaker. I would suggest using car speakers in well sealed enclousures with rubber surrounds.

we had some audiovox coaxials with foam surrounds in our boat for 10 years before one blew.

Right now we have all pioneer (4) with rubber surrounds, there about 3-4 years old from my first car audio project and still work great.
