Soooo Lemme get this straight.... you got rid of an Audison LRx 1.400 and now you're thinking of replacing it with one of those??

Buddy you got a lot to learn....

The audison I had was totally garbage ! I dont know if it was something worng with the amp or what..
But it sounded like crap ...and heat up like crazy... then running it in 1 ohm , it put the amp in protection, and never came out of protection mode.

I just wanted to see if these Boss amps were decent or not.

I too choose option #5 but you know what, some of that gear actually works not too bad at all, I can't believe I just said that.

I'll pick door # 2....

Boss aint that bad... hmm... last time I checked an amp was an amp was an amp anyway....

Xover & protection circuitry will be on par with most stuff out there... They state dynamic power ratings into nominal load on the front....

Buy them from an authorized dealer and I think you get a 5 year warranty !!!

If that amp sounded like garbage there was something not right with your system or the amp...like I said before on another thread did you ever run an impedance sweep on your sub from 20 to 150 Hz?

I've heard that amp and it sounds awesome, so I really don't understand what your problem with it was. Did you get the shop to double check everything before they took the amp back?

The shop that sold me the amp checked it...and checked it again... there was nothing worng, ...finally they rewired my sub in parallel to get a 1 ohm load... 2 minutes later, the amp went into protection...
Beats me what happened..
