Dude. Just save yourself the time and anguish and buy yourself something that's tried and tested. Orion, Xtant, Phoenix gold, Zapco, Fosgate (as Buffdaddy suggested), Kicker. These are all names which have been rigorously tested and which many people can vouch for. When you get into stuff like Boss you're getting experimental and not playing statistics.

not a fan of boss amps, it's not like theres anything terribly wrong with them. It's not like its gonna blow up and take your crx with it. It's just they seem kinda cheaply built and too flashy for me. A friend bought the 1200 watt four channel and was terribly dissapointed in it then he switched to an alpine v-12 four channel and he was happy as could be. The boss had quite a crappy sound the bass seemed muddled and the tweeters always seemed scratchy. When we switched his amp up problem solved. I'm not sure if this is similar problems their mono blocks (bass being muddled I mean) but you never know right.

Boss is a fine company. they overrate their amps but their 3000watt monoblock (or whatever their biggest one is) is a pretty descent amp. I mean it does nowhere near 3000wrms but it does do around 1500watts and where are you gonna get 1500watts for that price!!!! People bash but really there is nothing wrong with them other than being overrated...in fact as I recall alot of those amps use the same boards as Lanzar amps and there is nothing wrong with Lanzar either

I personally wouldnt suggest it. They do put out a very good watt per dollar ratio but why would you jump from a zapco to boss? Like i told you before rob, a JL 1000/1 would be amazing for that sub or just stick with the AG750 or the referenece line equal.
