Anyways, I have consistently bottomed out the sub, and I hear clattering from the cone hitting the spyder... I better lay off of it for a bit..
For some reason, the sub does not distort at all, but it just bottoms out...
Did that ever happen to your e8a ?

no they don't seem to .............but I have a 30hz subsonic filter turned on ....... and I havn't been runing them full out as my panels and stuff rattle if I crank it too loud [img]smile.gif[/img]
oh and it's not for some reason [img]smile.gif[/img] ......... the motor has more travel than the suspension does so it bottoms out .......

here's the specs ..... xmag (motor travel) is 17.7mm .........xsus(suspension travel) is 16.5mm
so as you can see the motor can travel roughly 1mm more than the suspension
I don't know if it's a flaw per se. they know about it ......... I was warned not to drive mine too hard or what your experiencing would happen [img]smile.gif[/img]
but yeah I like a woofer with more suspension travel than motor travel .... it protects the sub from me

First of all these amps are hard to come by..I dont want car audio peices that everyone else has..I will pay a bit extra for something that is rare + high end ! Just like anything else.
