I give props to Rob for doing his homework, for getting a set up that not everywill have or always see, and also props for running a 8 and killing it....
but for the price you paid, i would have done different becouse im simply wanting something not everyone has here as well, but not that high of a price range, id rather get i dont know...
Now what i dont get, is why when someone buys some good equipment, like a high end sub, thats around 1200$ for 1 12" sub, they just say wow nice sub... but when someone buys a amp for 900$ they say $1 / watt is to much, when really it can more then likely do more then 900 watts...
So yeah, good luck with ur set up, and post pics with this beast all in one and hitting hard!

Rob just bring the amp by my shop and i'll have a look at it for you
Also that is a nice watt!
$1 a watt is not really what he paid actually paid .85 cents a watt + tax
That is a very good price for a very nice amp!
And rob eD did not design the sub with a flaw the only " flaw " it has is the fact that it is an 8'' woofer even high excurstion 10's have a hard time not hitting the spiders, there is only so much a 8'' can do and they are pushing them to there limits!

Thanks Paul...
I live closer to Number 1 Sound. I dealt with them numerous times, so I will get the zapco fixed there.
Y a, I might just be pushing the sub to the max... I am not used to the output (or lack of) of an 8, I guess.
Remember, I had a 10L7 in a ported box before this running, off a fosgate 1000bd.

Looks like a nice amp. Good luck with it. As for the price, I was out with a friend today looking for an amp for his car. A local shop was selling the JL 250/1 for 699+ tax!!
That is friggin 3 bucks per watt after taxes. I think that 1 dollar per watt if you are buying retail is a great price.
