Box Glue for MDF 3/4in recommended?

What do you guys recommend for box glue? I hear some glues are not safe for the subs so just wondering what's cheap and works best.

DO NOT use gorilla glue. does not bond the MDF together. I myself use any type of carpenters glue as it will form a bond between the two pieces of MDF

It's the silicon some people use to seal the box that MAY be harmful. Any wood glue as stated above should be fine. Even the silicon should be safe but you have to wait until it's fully cured(24-48hours) until you actually mount the sub in the box. Only use the silicon to seal the box, not glue it together

Wellbond, Elmers any carpenter glue will do just fine.

Do NOT use silicone, liquid nails and you really don't need any construction adhesives like PL 400.

If any of those non glue methods really worked better cabinet makers would be using them all day long.

I'm not sure if it was the 400 I used, it might have been, but it was the same PL series construction adhesive in the caulking type tube.
Look for the one for subfloors and wood decks.
