if ya still want to know, i think i got that velcro at walmart....it holds pretty good to keep the box from sliding around, i wouldnt use it though to keep someone from stealing it.

Why would you NOT screw/bolt/permanently affix your gear to the car? Anything that slows the bad guys down seems like a good idea to me. Plus, I don't like 50+ lbs boxes rolling around in my trunk.

Because I take my gear out after every show, so I don't have to drive around with a huge box in my trunk that is tuned to about 52hz. (ie, useless for every day driving)

Any kind of box is a missile in an accident. Get that sumbitch screwed or bolted down like right now. Winter is here and so are the unavoidable collisions that come with it.
