Yeah...........there should be a law against people in the stereo industry making a 10% profit !!!
Gimme a break.........!! By the looks of the cash in your picture you seem to be able to make a profit !!
Why cant the stereo guys make a mere 10%
And its the Future Shops and A&B's of the world that are selling the "crap".
There are some good stereo shops that give exceptional deals on "good" equipment.
A cheap dvd player is not a good deal - i agree they're crap !! A good deal is when you get good stuff at a good price, not when you pay good cash for cheap junk !!

Trust me, I have worked in enough electronics stores to know the deal. But from a consumer's standpoint, it sucks. They get doupped into buying the door crasher stuff that sucks, and everything else that happened to be on sale on the 24th, is no longer on sale. [img]graemlins/bs.gif[/img]
Anyway, enough with my rant. I hate boxing day and what it stands for in todays age.
As far as the cash in my pic goes. I think there is 4-5 grand there. That was a while ago. It was cool to have that many hundreds at one time. I wa gonna em all over on my bed and do the whole "naked money shot" pose. [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]

When else except on Boxing day can you find a classic amplifier like a KEF Amplifier 50x2 for a paultry $149.? or subs at $1.oo/inch (eg 12-in sub $12bucks.)
Door crashers are indeed the opportunity for a retailer to "turn over" the inventory and allow fresh stock in, it's up to the salesperson, and an aware consumer to be informed about the status/age of the unit being purchased, and product that is/was used must be sold as such.

i bought an ipod. and got realy mad a future shop for not tranfering my call because of faulty murchandice. my mom bought my sister a brand new stereo for her present and the thing was defective. it skipped with all her cds and it said thier was supose to be a remote and thier was none. my mom puts her hard earned money in to buying my sister that stereo and it don't even work. stupid chain stores.

Fat Whacker, that kind of cash is a PITA! I used to carry sums like that for stuff, but then I discovered the simplicity of a debt card. Much safer.
