brutus amp question

brutus amp question
so i got a hifonics brutus amp that wasnt working for free.. turns out it was only $25 to fix it.. so ive got an amp that claims to put out 1200rms @ 1 ohm for $25..
my question is how are these amps? ive never dealt with them but i mean a next to free amp, why not...
i have it in my truck wired up to a pair of type r dual 4 tens.. the amp has the two speaker outputs (++- -) should i use both or just one to achieve my 1 ohm load?
i have each dual 4 ohm sub wired to 2 ohms and i would like to take that amp down to 1ohm... my question is.... if i run each wire from the sub to its own output will that be giving the amp a 1 ohm load? (bridged internally??)
it may sound like a dumb question but ive got a couple different answers from a couple different guys already.. one said running it like that will give a two ohm and one said it will be one ohm... i was told too, that i should just have the wires from the sub going into one output (+- rather than ++ - -)
if i run my wires together and only go into one does it matter which + and - i am wiring into?

rockford wiring wizard is your friend when in doubt!
2 d4s can be run at 1ohm and 4 ohms in your case makes sense for a 1ohm final load.
