I have removed the door panels in various Toyotas over the years, they are usually pretty logical to deal with. A door panel removal tool is worth the investment:

If you have a Princess Auto in your city then they are usually good places to get these tools from.

Some info on Camry door panel removal here, not sure how different your door panels are:

What is your budget for front speakers? Where are you located? Do you have decent audio shops in your city?

I have read good things about this set for the price: http://www.cadencesound.com/products/CWM6KIT.html

Used to sell on Ebay for around $70/set. Not sure if they are available anymore. You could try a wanted ad on http://diymobileaudio.com/ possibly. Or look at this set:

I have seen some decent reviews for them.

One other thing worth mentioning, the design and tuning of the sub box you have now could cause some issues also. It may be tuned higher, giving you a large amount of bass at certain frequencies, but it may not blend very well with your front speakers. I am probably not explaining this very well, but there is lots of reading you can do on this and other forums that would probably help you out. Your vehicle acoustics affect sound also, transfer function, etc. http://www.caraudiohelp.com/newsletter/cabin_gain.htm
Most prefab boxes will generally be tuned higher, which will give you the boom, but may not be the ideal tuning for your sub/vehicle combination.
