Why this is so complicated I do not know, but its killing me inside.
Did any of you out there struggle when trying to figure out the grilles for the Infinity 6000cs series? In the instructions, it looks like its in 2 peices but the grille has both peices attached to each other. How do i take them apart?

Hey Dereck is that glue or is that the plasic pushed through the grill then heated up and squished to hold ot in? I looked into removing them way back when to turn them around. At the time it wasn't worth the time.
I agree with the pick thing to remove the grill from the plastic ring around the speaker. Just be carfull not to pull to hard and damage the finish or shape.

Also, is there a length that the leads from the tweeters and mids to the cossover cannot exceed? The only place I am able to mount the crossover is about 1.5 feet from the tweeter and woofer...allllll the way on the other side of the door.

I have the same set, as DWVW said, stick a pick or a jeweller's scredriver in the mesh carefully, and pull it away.
The outer silver ring and infinity logo stay mounted to the speaker. As far as the crossovers go, I have been running mine mounted in the back of my Jeep by the amp, about 6 feet away from the mids and tweets. Probably not recommended to do it that way but
