Glad to help, like I say, might not be recommended to have the crossovers that far away but i have been running it like that for quite a while now without any problems (that I can hear anyways).

How do you mount your crossover? Double sided tape? I am a little weary as to how it will hold during canadian summers, and then the winters.

The setup in my truck is very ghetto these days, they are just sitting on the floor underneath my back seat right now. Just swapped out the crossovers for some nicer Infinity Beta XP-Ten crossovers, 24db slope, nice ones.

One day I will get around to mounting everything properly....

I have a similar set of comps, the 6005cs model or something along those lines (reference series). I didn't find anything about the grilles overly hard to take apart, and like Jeepbeats mentioned I have my crossovers mounted near my amp.
Decent set of comps, however I find that they're extremley lacking in the midbass department and the tweets are a tiny bit harsh.

Maybe i'll just ziptie it down. I dont think double sided tape can withstand temperature change and the constant slamming of the door.
