What should the "normal" voltage display for a capacitor be at? Mine shows between 12 and 13 with the car off and between 13 and almost 15 with the car running. This doesnt seem normal to me but then again I have no experience with capacitors. I am running a scosche .5f cap.

 

When running, should be approx 14.4V, assuming the alternator is in good repair, and approx 12V at rest.
