never never never buy any alarm online used or new, no shop whould install it and if thay do then ther going to charge you more and there will be no warrenty. I have had this same thing thing happen at my shop and usually i will refuse to do it because i dont know if the thing works or not and if it does break down then it takes valuble shop time witch is hard to bill for.
