Try not to listen to it too loud. And I prefer "selective hearing".

 

awwe damn 140+ for me for the last 12 years..... geeze no wonder I am def... and I am only 36 years old..

 

I keep it at a moderate level, but I did onetime stick my head in rightbeside my dub7 to see what was ratteling and it kicked. That hurt like a bitch but its fine now, I'm a lot more carefull now. I watched my auto teacher go through hearing loss, now he wears hearing aids, he used to kill us if we cranked are systems in auto class, he'd lock us out of the room. He really suffered, he doesn't even teach auto anymore cuz of it.

 

All I know is that my car audio hasn't caused me any hearing damage as of yet ... it's all these damn clubs and concerts that has!
If you attend a concert at the Ampitheatre or Air Canada Centre (Toronto) and you're there between 3-5 hours, you're EASILY getting hearing damage ...
I know because I have a loss of hearing for that night, the next day and even the next ...

Everyone thinks I'm nuts when I'm concerned about my hearing, meanwhile they have no idea that I'm attending 10 to 20 concerts a year, easily ...
It's all that crap that's going to cause something before my stereo does.

 

Concerts are very loud, and are usually like 80 to 100 db for several hours. When you get out you get really bad ringing for several hours, not so nice .

 

Apparently my hearing loss is within the frequency of my wife's voice.

 

I dunno what to say about that

 

Happens to all of us...sooner or later...blame the gold ring.

 

WTF Gold? Try brass and cubuc zirconia. Don't worry dear, it gets green over time because it is high quality, unlike some of the other cheap brands out there that stay gold the whole time. And yes, I can afford a "diamond" that size.
