Hey guys and gals, hoping everyone had a great time over the holidays (trying to be politically correct here as it seems to me that everytime I wish someone Merry X-MAS, people are correcting me, wow what a country we have become being born and raised here in Toronto perhaps not the case in the West or the Eastern provinces a discussion on this topic on this board should be investigated further). I ask simply if anyone can remember the incredible work Richard Clarke and more importantly (only true old schoolers will recall this name) Holly Mungal who had an award winning 1987 Buick Grand National, a Ferrari 328 GTS, and a GMC dually pickup all with IASCA breaking SQ records across the continent. He was the owner of Canadian Car Autosound if I recall correctly (please correct me if the business name is incorrect) and his shop was world class bar none at the time. He was an extremely likable individual who always had time to answer any questions just like alot of board members here today. His vehicles to this date have left an impact as I auditioned all of them and as I'm sure all of Woodbride, Ontario could attest! Don't laugh out loud guys I'm an east ender here in the city of Toronto (I live in the Beach but I joke with my wife all the time that it should be named the Bleaches as it seems to be the only remaining white neighbourhood left in Canada and this is no joke. I grew up in an extremely multicultural neighbourhood which I just loved and to be here makes you shake your head sometime but being voted the best community in Ontario for three years running by TVO must have some merit. I'm into real estate development and I guess I'm making a living so it can't seem all that bad. Sorry about the rant but I just had the most incredible steak lunch and I feel like a million bucks but getting back to the point does anyone remember if he moved to California or Florida (Miami if I recall) Any information would be appreciated simply because I cannot stress the fact that this individual was the pioneer for Car Audio as we know it today for all of Canada along with a few others who had a major impact in bringing large American Corporations (car audio electronincs) to Canada.

Peace on Earth along with health and happiness to all!

Happy New Year

Paul

Last I heard, Holly had moved to Florida and was running a high end home theater installation business. His theater systems were low 6 figures and up.

Oh and the shop was CAR, Canadian Auto Radio, kinda of a gay name for what he did and offered.

I do apologize for the rant Father Yuli and PEI330ci and I would like to thank Tim Baillie for that bit of information (incredible work by the way Tim which leaves people speachless on some of your wicked installs but some people are to proud or ignorant to fess up) I'm on fire today and I feel like tackling a new project for the new year perhaps me and Father Yli will be doing some business in the New Year as he always has incredible gear at some incredible prices not like some board members that ask ridiculous sums of hard earned cash for some items in the for sale section. Keep up the good work Tim and hoping that Father Yuli can keep it real as he always does and kicks some American *** this year with some wicked cool spl numbers.

Lates!

Wow, I think I need a cigarette after reading your posts. My blood pressure went up 20 points and my heart rate went up 30. You seem like an enthusiastic individual! Welcome to CCA

As for Richards Grand National, I give most of the credit to SpeakerWorks and the Holdaways who actually built the car. Rich just bought a winning car and then tinkered with it.

Enthusiasm and a joy of life is something that is given to every individual at birth and it's something we should all strive for no matter how depressing or crazy this world of ours seems. How do we come up with an explanation as to what just recently occurred overseas. All we can do is help one another and be good decent human beings! May I suugest a shot of Loius XIX Cognac and what we would call the Prims! here in the east end of Toronto if you know what I'm talking about. As far as I'm concerned my motto is legalize it! The whole world could chill out as a result if used in moderation along with the company of some fine ladies. By the way, is this not the hidden agenda for 50-75% of all car audio enthusiasts. Not only play it loud or proud but to pick up chicks! Let be real here. I know there is alot of pride on the line and alot of creativity on this board but why can't everyone put that aside for a change and party hard. Has anyone ever suggested a party or some time of get together for board members once a year. That would be tripping. Buy the way SUX 2BU great info on Richard's Grand National. Keep it loud and proud with the foot to the floor boys and girls!

Wassup and as Tony Montana quoted "I have a little surprise for you" in the New Year.
