myth: kickpanels produce a low stage. This comes from people listening with their eyes, not their ears.

I would have to disagree with you Kev!!! I am only running 1200 Watts RMS in total.. I have 3 batts and twin alts.... After adding the twin alt it sounds way better.. Gets louder and drops way better.. You are just saying that because there is no room to put a nowhere alt under the hood of your car lol...

i work at best buy RUNS n hides lol ....

best was i go to a shop a couple weeks ago i need 2 dual 4 ohm subs so i can run a amp at 1 ohm .. Why just run it at 2 ohms . u dont need to run subs at 1 ohms . does the same thing ...
they are into NICE looking systems not loud systems ... then as soon as i said what i was doing " ur car wont be able to power that.. u will need caps and a new alternator ...

would that not greatly depend on the efficiency of the subwoofers? if so you may have cases either way i'd assume.

adding a second alt is always an improvement but in your case it isn't
going to make much difference.....your system isn't near big enough
to aquier that much juice....

I think you got ground location issues.....I am able to power the XXX6500
with out any of the problems you had and I have only one alt and one
extra battery

I would be moving your ground to a better location..something is not right there

i can see how it can go both ways but the idea that it is ALWAYS better is wrong, the dude had 2 alpine type S or e i cant remember which and i had my single 12w7. We connected both to my HD750 amp and my setup was louder and cleaner
