car starting

car starting

ive had my amp cranked up pretty much just below full, and half bass boost, and its been bumping for a good month, no problems.

but recently my car is hesitating to start.
anyone ever hear of this

i think maybe its drawing too much power and FINALLY causing my battery to drain, so ive unplugged it, and went for a drive, now when i goto get in my car ina couple hours im hoping it dosnt hesititate, another reason i think its because of this is because my subs started to sound like and barley work at all

what voltage does your battery rest at?

What is your setup? prolly time for a new battery.

whenever my amp is plugged in under the hood, my car is completely dead after a w hile, when i unplug it, it starts up.

Sounds like the amp might be draining the batt/batt is dying.
If you have a circuit breaker by the batt you could trip it so the batt is not connected while parked, but the proper solution would be to unplug your batt, put a dmm inlie with the batt circuit and measure the current draw at rest. Might need the amp repaired.

^^x2, sounds like your amp isn't shutting off when it's supposed to.

gotta be exactly what it is, another thing is even with it unplugged sometimes my car deck itself stays on, lol.
