Quite often I've seen DC power supplies in various pawn shops... if you find a 50amp supply for 100 bux you are doing okay. Quite often the voltage is adjustable from 12-15 volts so that is an extra bonus

Thanx, but I already have an amp and don't need a power supply.

maybe nobody read my first post in the thread? The reason I'm going to use kicker subs is the sub I bought with my surround system just isn't up to it. The dealer said the SW250 10" would be enough, it was $800. The next up would be the 12" 300rms for $1200 or the 600wrms 15" for $1800.
I'm not spending 1800 on one 15" home theather sub!!
I don't mind spending 350 on a pair of kicker 07CVR15.4's and maybe 200 on building a couple boxes. originally, I was going to take the subs out of the car just to try it, but that would be more work than its worth. Like I said, I already have an external amp that will do it. Back in '96, I paid $1000 for the Elite VSX-79.
