Got your cookies set properly in the browser? Sounds like they are not updating when you log on the site.....

Small text files that tell the websites you visit when you were last on the site......this allows the server to figure out what is new since the last visit....there is an option is your user profile that will set the cookies on....you may need to change the option in your browser to accept them as well.....
