i got a CDA-7894 off a friend and i haven't got it to work properly yet.

to start it is hard to turn on. sometimes it will take like 5 trys of pushing the on button to turn on. no big deal but its anoying.

and when i get it on it stays at 87.7 and wont change stations and no bottons work except source. when i put it on cd and just says reading disc. and no sound comes out from either source. the little sound bars dont even move on the faceplate.

this wasn't the first problem either. befor it would turn on and change stations and play disks and the sound bars would move. but the volume was very very low at high range.

i tried resetting the deck multipy times. i turned on and off the output ic setting and tried every setting i could but nothing changed. there is power coming from rca cables and speaker wires coming out the deck and the remote wire has power. but still nothing. i have the speakers running off a two channel amp.
