Chaging L.E.D's in alpine headunit faceplate

Is it possible to take apart the face plate on a late model alpine headunit and change the LED's to a different colour, has anyone ever done it?

Probably can be...but looks like it'll be a bitch given how small and tight everything is on those face plates. Though the European models do have different leds

I did it in my amp controller. The led's were tiny, I think 0603 or something. That was a few years ago now.
