Civic Si 4Dr 2008 Audio Setup Advice (:

Hey!

I have a Civic Si and I want to get my system setup !
I setup my honda civic hybrid 07' for my mom and this is what she has:

Optima Yellow Top
MTX Class D Amp 400 Watts 4002? :S
MTX 4 Channel Amp Blue Thunder ! (Old Skool)
MTX 6002's EXPENSIVE COMPONENTS
MTX Dome's 6502's.
MTS Sledgehammer 10"x2 Sub's. POUNDS WELL.
ReQ's (:

I want a way better setup for competition.
I have always been a fan of MTX ! =)

So this is what I have in mind...

Yellow Top Optima
0' Gauge Cable
Street Wires Only
Monster Cable RCA's

Components:

Front: TXC6.1
Rear: TDX6903

Subwoofer:

MTX TC712x2

Amps:

Four Channel Amp : MTX TA7804
Class D Amp: TA92001

Deck:

Pioneer AVIC-Z3

... So What do you guys think?

advice? speaker choice?...

& why should I dynamat car?

should work fine on a hybrid but i wouldnt put to much power cause she might see a decrease in in mpg lol

I an all honesty I woul steer you away from the MTX speakers in favor of something that sounds alot better. but if you like them and you'll be happ with it.. by all emans go for it. Just remember to add another 36lbs or so of sound deadening

why deaden the car!! hmmmm
all jokes aside, sound deadning does just what it implies. it takes sound and turns it into heat.
the reason you want to do this is to hear the speakers not the rattles of the metal or the road noise as you drive down the street. very simple consept.
it makes a huge differance in sound quality. i was doughtful at first too. till i was done.
even the wife said wow!! all i did was the doors!
maybe next spring ill do the floor.
