Clarion DB175MP front aux, portable mp3 plugin?

I'm looking for a cheap basic deck for my girlfriends car. I chose a clarion because of there basic look and easy functions. It has a front aux plugin on the faceplate. Would it be possible to plug a portable mp3 player directly in?

Yes just head down to your local good stereo shop and get a stereo 1/8" to 1/8" male to male cable.. then put your Clarion on Aux in and you are good to go.

Your Clarion has 3 level settings for the Aux input - Low/Mid/High - try each to find the best input for your MP3 players - some play louder than others..

Go see your local Clarion dealer if you have any questions.

Great thanks. Very nice basic feature for the deck, don't need anything fancy =)/

Glad you like it, it's great bang for the buck compared to most out there, that is for sure.. and it sounds pretty good for it's price range to boot!
