I live in Mississauga, have a DEH1500 Pioneer deck and a whip antenna on my Cutlass and my two favourite stations are small jazz fm stations. I am often annoyed by a shkshkshk noise up in the high frequency range. Any suggestions?

 

powered antenna from THE SOURCE....just plugs into 12volt and antenna and cleans up the signal quite well, I have a similar problem, use the booster, and now I get kitchener stations from Brampton quite clear

 

I find getting a CD or MP3 player usually clears that FM up right now That or wrap a long wire from your antenna around your passenger mirror.
