CLK2 Audison amp cooling kit

Hey, I have my amplifiers in my trunk sandwiched between the floor mat and the spare tire so they don;t have tons of room for cool air, now I tend to travel long distances and this summer I have run into problems with one amp (PG QX) going into protection from heat whereas the other one was fine. I replaced the QX with a LRx audison and I was wondering if the CLK2 kit 100$ plus about 50$ install is worth it?

go get some 12v pc fans, and wire them up to a relay, powerd by a switched source, and call it a day... 20 bucks, or 150? easy choice in my books.

Exclamation PC Fans the best

and if you have them screwed to plywood, change out plywood to 1/4" thick aluminum checker plate which will act as a huge heat sink.
