the thing is, all the crossovers I find on the net dont seem to have crossovers capable of doing this active setup. They all seem to have high pass crossovers with crossover frequencies between 80hz and 500hz or something like that. Dont I need one with a highpass around 3500 and a lowpass around 3500? Thats the only way I can think of splitting up the frequencies between the 6.5 and the tweeter. This is a little more involved than I first thought LOL

Not trying to be an advocate for Soundstream (doors), but I noticed one of the "lil wonder" amps has a crossover up to 3.8khz... not bad... it was just a LW 2.60 small footprint and also capable of running passband... look into it, I was suprised at all the features. I'm pretty sure it was a toggle switch that changes the range of the crossover frequencies (HPF 15 - 255hz or 255 - 3.8khz) and (LP 50 - 800 or 250 - 4khz) it looks like the 4 channels also have the same options - I have a DBX 2/3/4 way crossover for pro audio and nothing I have seen car audio wise even comes close... I guess I'll have to switch everything to xlr

It looks like Coustic dropped their crossovers. too bad. ebay is your friend here. The XM5, XM5e, and XM6 are the models to look for. They have crossover ranges that you want.

For sure, a high level of accuracy is not required here.
