i'll add myself to Chinaman's position... and at the same time you can take a listen to my 13W7 to see if you like it.
i think there is a considerable difference in SQ between the W7 and the L7 in optimal enclosures. as far as the other subs, nothing to write home about.
you said it yourself, your sub hits hard and is crisp... why change a good thing?!? i think to you the grass may simply look greener on the other side.

I think your probably right I am known for wanting what I cant have! It just think Canadian car audio sellers make it hard for consumer to listen to top end stuff due to its high price I guess! but I'd love to hear your 13w7 in action if you would like to hookup and let our subs loose! and chinaman if you want to hear my sub just message me and will hookup! by the way I noticed the tube amps on your page, what are they powering?
In terms of what I like sq or spl, I want both! lol! unfortunately I want something that sounds great and when turned up makes my eye lashes beat to the bass!!!

Build yourself a high performance strip only drag car, and then say you want to be able to drive it on the street! The cam will be so lumpy that you'll have to put it up to 4000 RPM at every light, pop the clutch and squeal away...if you don't drive it like that, it'll stall out, foul the plugs with all the unburned gas your puoring into it, and drive like kaka! High performance stereo is the same way,,,,you can have SPL, or SQ, but not both unless you pay ten times the price or more to beef up your SQ system to put out the SPL as well..you can't have it both for the price of one.
An SPL system can never be "beefed up" to be an SQ machine...they're not built for it. SQ systems, by design, trade off the SPL component for SQ.

You want low bass extension, and SPL? put a whack of subs in your van or a blow thru pickup.....power it with an alternator or three, have a dozen batteries, beef up the suspension to handle the extra 2 or 3 tons of box, batteries, amps ect.
Oh yeah...it's been done!
You want a good sounding sub? or you want a sub that sounds good? Loud, low, or clear...those are your choices...where are your priorities, and how much of each are you willing to sacrifice to not spend $500,000 for a sydtem that "does it all"?

Each of those subs has characteristics that weigh the balance of loud, low, and clear against price, and each do an awesome job....different, but all good for their intended design.
Up to you to decide which one suits your needs...not "our" needs or opinions....just yours.
It's not so much a matter of which one is best....more a decision on which one lacks the loud, low, or clear, you're willing to put up with in order to satisfy your budget.
More important is who is going to design and build this system for you? The box is way more important than the parts that go into it, and subs are just "parts on the counter" until they've been properly installed.

Just like that drag engine....you can go out and by an 850 double pumper, high rise intake, High lift, long duration cam, and big headers for your engine, but tune it all you want....it's gonna run like dog doo, til you get it wound up to over 6 grand on the tach....then it'll be like NOS, IF you built the motor to stand the revs...otherwise it'll blow your hood to shreds. Let your installer pick the parts he knows how to use to satisfy "your" needs, or try them all yourself, til you learn what he knows, and then you can design your own. If he can't do a better job than you....get a new mechanic....or installer!

Same thinga go for audio....you want to win at the dB drags, and run on the street? Buy two cars...it's cheaper and better in the long run.

Wow, that was long!
I think you misunderstand what my post originally was for! I bought my system already and I do really enjoy its level of sq and spl! That being said, I just wanted to hear peoples opinion who have listen to other comparable subs in whatever enclosure, with enough power to run the sub properly to see where they compare mtx with the others I menchand. Unfortunately I was not able to lisen to anyother highend sub. So like i said i just wanted to hear the opinion of those who have listend to all of the subs because they are qualified to compare them!
