You could go the chapters and pickup a book on fibreglass and get some polyester and resin from crappy tire and fabric land and teach yourself like some people had too (ie. me, myself, and I) There might even be "for dummies" book on it by now... oh yeahand get a rebreather those fumes no matter how good they seem are BAD...

learning on your own is much more difficult then learning from someone else IMO...

If you are going solo a book on glassing is one place to start... but you will probably want to look for books on speakers in general, box design, basic electrical theory, ect... you also need a dmm and a host of other tools for actual install work...


You can also skip the books and just spend 5+ years in car audio related forums like I did...
