Hey guys,

I'm about to do a budget/stealth install and I'm using my stock head unit as the source in a 2000 Cavalier Z24.

Has anyone here used the stock deck as the source and if so how did it sound?

Also, I'm looking at using a David Navone LOC because I've heard they are the best LOCs out there. Does anyone have experience with them?

I have one that I've recently taking out of my car since I went with an aftermarket headunit. It's the original 774v, not the updated one. I can even let you try it and if you like it you can buy it lol. I was looking to get 30cdn. Much cheaper than online and no duty worries or shipping so give me a pm if you're interested.
I'm in the Markham area.

The next step up is to get a Audio Control LC6, gives you front, rear and sub out with a sub level control.................

Thay are a awesome piece.....................the way of the future when it comes to OEM integration if you ask me..........

AFAIK, changing the volume on the factory deck would only make a difference to the cleansweep if the linearity of the output of the deck changes with volume (eg boosting of midrange when volume is above a certain point)...

I could be wrong, but that's what I understood from the CarSound threads...

That is true, but if it adjusts anything in the deck then it's pointless...............plus......having to use the external volume control..............

Anyone know the retail on it ? I know US is $499..........
