DD 9512 VS Massive Audio DMX 12 (Pics)

Anyone can put junk in their trunk and get loud, and even louder if they know how to do it properly. I am seriously considering building a spl vehicle just to hand him is a$$ this season and to show people that even a name brand can do seriously good numbers. I find it very odd that he will not compete outside of our general area and at no time have I ever seen him enter a sq or install contest, wonder why?

Massive audio bought out Marathon about 6 years ago.
Maybe the DD's are 9012 series, I recent bought them really cheap and I just assumed they were an older 9512 model

"Now the vehicle that was mentioned with the whole pile of 8's actually was bought that way. It was owned by PROCAR Audio in Naniamo, BC and fully stocked with Rockford Fosgate gear and partially designed by PEZ from Korbon Trading (all stand in awe of PEZ). Pez was local for us at the time. All this shop did was take out the Rockford and swap in their product + some basic modifications, at no time was it built from the ground up by them. So kudo's to Roland at Procar in Naniamo for a nice system and PEZ for the input on it."
Which vehicle is that? That Roland's Ranger? Man I haven't talked to Roland in forever...
Incidentally - I loved your rant dude

No, Roland still has the Ranger and is working on it again (aren't we all). It was a previous vehicle with a canopy on it, I think it was an import, I haven't seen it in a while now. Must mean I have no desire to go into this dude's shop in Victoria....

The kid you speak of from Vancouver Island, did he have a silver/grey VW Sirocco with 2 Massive 12's and a silver Massive amp??
If it is he came to Hertz Audio for a DbDrag talkin smack about Massive being the best then he got his *** handed to him by one of the F/X Audio boys who would burp, then let the Massive guy burp and pass him this happened about 2 or 3 times until the guy from F/X Audio just said screw it and blew him away by like 5db's
Then myself and Jimmybassvibes started getting into an arguement with him about amp efficency he kept telling us that A/B's were more eff. than class D's

The guy in the scirocco is a customer of this store, that also gets equipment loaned to him specifically for the contest (from what I hear)that if destroyed, the dad of the shop warranties as he is the distributor, thus the dude is ready again right away for another comp. This last season he was posting numbers above 150db on a new Audio Control SA3055 with the 180db mic and software upgrade. Good to hear that someone handed him his butt, this hasn't happened to him yet on the island.
