k i did a lay out of both wiring harnesses. the only things not on their is the orange 12 V battery wire and the yellow 12 V ignition wire. so im a little confused cause i got 3 sets of wires that are 3 diffrent colors. how do i test to see which is which. i got to dark green wires ones a speaker wire and the other a speend sensor. 2 yellow wires thier both the same size one a speaker wire and the other ignition wire. and 2 light green wires ones a speaker wire and the other a thing for my inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil. heres the layout

well, the speaker wire wont have power going through it, get a simple tester where you attach a cable to ground and touch the end to the yellow cable, if the light comes on it has power.

Dude, stop while you are ahead. Answer this question.

Can you afford to fix a problem that you may create?

If you answer no to this, take the vehicle to someone that knows what they are doing. We dealers repair more DIY installs than you could ever think. If you are bound and determined to continue on this path, that's great, but be prepared to pay the man should a problem develop that is beyond your capacity. You are headed on a path to detroying someone's vehicle as indicated by already cutting his harness into little pieces, what are you going to do next in your quest that you will need help on?

Absolutly right.. you have a new Cd Player, Manufacture may void the warranty if installed incorrectly, most shops charge 30 to 40 dollars to install a head unit + whatever adapter you may need to fit your dash mounting location.
Its a well worth investment.
