Deepest and most powerful mind-blowing bass for cheap $$$...
I have $1000-$1500 for a sub, box and amp... Could anyone suggest me the best sound system for that price range?
I like deep, constant bass... Something powerful enough to give me Parkinson's
Thanks for the help

well my first suggestion would be spend more money.....
next would be get a good battery $200-$300... then get a big amp $1000 and up... then go buy about $300 worth of 1/0 wire, then go get sub(s) $500 and up, and have real box made for them $200 and up....
something like that anyway

what do you really want for bass... and be honest... if you wanna scare the crap outta people when they get into your car be prepared to spend a huge amount of money...
800RMS @ 2ohms, is good power but its nothing special...
just give us a real idea of what you want for bass, also what do you drive?

I want that bass powerful enough to shake everything inside the car at the same impact without that cheap rear-seat sub feeling
My budget can go up to $2000 because I'm getting a $10000 loan for a car and a sound system... so I don't have a car yet but I'm looking at accords, preludes....

1500 is enough as long as you buy either used or on the internet don't buy retail. If you want a system that will be retarded loud you need:
1) a good battery like a odyssey 1700. they are around $250
2) a powerful but yet inexpensive amp, I would suggest the audioque 2200 check out AudioQue they are like $350
3) Build the box yourself, that will cost around $50
4) Get some really nice subs. I would recomend getting two 12" Audioque HDC3s they are around $209 each and that would give you enough money left over to pay for shipping on everything and you will end up with a really sweet system. Of course it depends what car its going in you could even get 2 15s for only a little more if you have room like in an SUV or something

yeah hes right you save a tone by going with solid used gear or shopping online, but you often lose out on any personal touch with help installing it and help if something goes wrong... Theres a lot of good used stuff on the site, really strong gear, because if you plan on beating the crap out of your stereo on a daily basis you will need strong stuff... alot of stuff can go loud for a month then blow up, but its alot harder to be good and loud for the long run.
