Looks good, reminds me of the 3/4 slap of chrome plated steel I used in the "Cop Car" back in the day to mount those EV 18" woofer to..............

Nice work Dave. 1/2" is fine for me with more material removed...doesn't flex at all.

The rest of the trunk looks like you're redoing every panel...I bet that's time consuming.

Are you tapping the aluminum for the Type X sub fasteners? If you do, us a ton of oil or your tap will break.....

You think that back glass is gonna stand up to those X's? The 1/2" might not flex, but it's sure gonna move!!

Being a R/T, it probably has a sunroof, and being a unibody, what kind of replacement support have you done to compensate for the lost structural integrity that the rear deck offers ?
