I have the Pioneer DEH63UB and 2 Dual XPA 4100 4 channel amps, one bridged to 150W x2 into 4 ohms (subs) and the other amp is running the front and rear speakers. Looking for some settings guide as for adjusting the amp and the head unit since it has multiple controls for the bass, including the built in equalizer. Just looking for some advice. The subs are 12 inch 200 watts rms and the other speakers are 6.75 inch coaxial 50 watts rms each. Its not a power house but it sounds really good and the bass hits hard enough for me since this system was built on a tight budget any negative comments need not be posted.

Settings? Crossover: Sub = 60-80hz, Fr/Rr = 80-100hz

EQ settings will be unique to your setup in your car. Anything posted on here would be quesswork.

thanks i have a 2001 Hyundai Accent, factory alternator, with the 500watts should i upgrade the alternator and battery? The reason Im asking is because when the heater is on and the headlights are on with the stereo at over 1/2 volume, the stereo went out along with the park/headlights and the tach needle was bouncing around all over the place until i shut the head unit off. Also I have stiffening cap installed, the next morning the car would not start and the battery voltage was 9.6v. I had to charge the battery then re-install it. With the car running stereo on at 1/2,no heater or lights on, the voltage at the Battery was around 13.6v fluctuating slightly, capacitor read out was around 12.6. Any ideas?

Factory battery? Sounds like it is weak if not completely pooched. After you replace it you will be able to determine if the alternator is hooped as well. You could take the alternator to a shop to test it as well.
