good evening gentlemen. new member here. just wanted to get an informed opinion on diamond audio speakers. i heard a set of D3 5x7 last night..sounded awesome and no distortion at loud levels

i'm being offered:
D3-$250
D6-$370
D9-$1000
also, D3 6.5 coaxials for $175.
just wanted opinions on:
1)is this a good deal?
2)are the speakers worth the price?
3) general opinion and positives/negatives of the speakers

I have never heard the D3, but the D6 and Hex series are very nice. Tweeters are incredibly accurate (aluminum) ones). I hear the D9 are their best but I have yet to try them out. Only negative I noticed so far is the midbass is a bit lacking without the help of a signal processor or a crapload of power.
