See orion's post on this. The sub is merely hitting its physical limits, and with this 8 its like hitting a brick wall.
Turn the volume down so you don't hear any noise, that is the cure. Its not a defective design, just different from what most people are used to.

Like I said before.. I went to Perfect Tones audio and showed them exactly what was going on... They told me that it is not a normal thing with the sub... they have never heard such a thing.

Rob, orion is Chris from Perfect Tones. What they are describing is not a defective problem with the sub. I think their use of the word "problem" is what has got you messed up. Its just the way that sub was designed. Every sub has a limit, be it physical or electrical. The e8A has a physical limit and you are hitting that...so just back off on the volume.
