i would agree with orion, hook it up bridged and just keep your gain down and it should work out fine.

JL W0 subs are under-rated as far as power handling is concerned. Great subs, I ran a 10w0 for over a year and a half with over 200 watts RMS, and never had a problem.

If your amp is putting out in excess of 500 watts, as mentioned above, just make sure you turn down the gain/bass boost. Keep an ear out for any odd noises coming from the sub. If you are going to blast it, just make sure you don't do it for long periods of time.

yeah i agree that the JL W0 woofers are under rated I ran 2 Orion HCCA 225 amps to 6 of the old first gen W0 10" for like 3 years and I BEAT THEM HARD and never had a problem. The other question for you is are they sealed or ported??? If on the off chance that it is sealed you will also be able to put more power into it because sealed will take more power.

Thanks for all of the replys guys!! [img]smile.gif[/img] The amp is a pioneer aswell so really it probably doesnt even put out near what the RMS rating is anyways... LOL!! Thanks for all of your help, its very much appreciated!! Happy New years!!

you should be fine witht he 530 watts. i had 2 12w0-4's being powered by a rockford bd1001 for almost 2 years and my only problem was it was ripped off by some loser with nothing better to do than steal my stereo
