the fins were made different lenghts so that you can play a tune like you would on a zylphone

^ I like that.

(in Jules voice....guy from Pulp Fiction) Mmmmmmm, this is an ugly amp.

That is one godawful looking amp that apears that it could very seriously harm a person if he/she were to trip and fall on it.

Definatly not something I'd want to display in my own install, but probably a great amp none the less.

The large black cover above the fuse door is all power supply section .I was lucky enough to own one of these amps back in 1988. it produced 360 watts @ 4 ohms of real RMS power when bridged. and they expensive too !

I agree...
That thing in the right install would be awe-inspiring...

You take an Audiobahn amp, and I'll take this HK (in mint shape anyway)... and with both of us setting off with the goal of "build an install that gives people the impression that they are looking at one ultra-high-end install - and we'll see who wins the challenge.

Yep, like Jeff Foxworthy said:
"If a guy's got big feet, big ears, big fingers, and a big nose, he BETTER be packin' cause that's one ugly son of a b!tch!"
