Hi everybody,

I just replaced my old Eclipse 5302 head unit with the new Eclipse CD5435. I've only had it for 1 day so I haven't thoroughly listened to it. However, from what I can tell, I think the 5302 sounded better. Is this just in my head or do I have to spend some time with it. The 5302 was the current model back in 1996 so I had assumed that 9 years down the road, the new models would be superior. Or should I have stepped up to the 8445? I do know that back in 1996, the 5302 was their top of the line. I just didn't want to drop another $800 so that I could have an AUX In for my iPOD.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

 

i'm considering buyin a 5415.old yeller has done me well over the last 8 yrs. alpine 7842.i'm not to sure if i wanna change but the price is right only 160 buks so who knows i would give your new one some more time.
