thanks for the info think I'm going to hafta check it out, they look decent i currently have some low end sony deck in my car (gt400 i think) not very satisfied with it, only 3 bar eq, has an input though so that was about the best feature. see a big price very on the eclipse, retail here 999$ at a local shop and 500$ on ebay, madness. SO they only gps it offers is for me to donwload the map first and etc to a memory stick, is they're any adapter for like real time gps such as the pioneer avic gps

Well with a item like that and a nice price tag I would definately get from MR2NR. I would hate to see you drop $700-800 by the time its landed at your door and it crap out and the ebay user or store close up. IMO its worth the extra $150 or so for the warranty, service and the headaches.

meh its 550$ shipped/taxes/fees from ebay, and really if i had the warrenty it really wouldn't make a difference i'm not patient enough for sending things away to get fixed I'm sure i'd just drop another 550$ and replace it. Never had anyluck with things under warrently, had a nice home theater system, reciever overheated or something, sent it away didn't see it again for nearly 2 months.

You also need to add in the CDN - US $ conversion, the brokerage (raping charges), international shipping is not covered under the shipping charges so tack on some more bread as well as the GST the minute it hits the border. Warranty in Canada on Eclipse headunits is 3 years and free replacement in the first year if it is stolen. To me, that is worth it right there. Buy from a CDN dealer that needs and appreciates your business. Even the tech support for Eclipse in Canada has been here to answer your questions (Thanks Westec).
