I'm glad you draw the line with honest people. People like you force companies to raise prices. It doesn't matter who you do it to. It is wrong. Plain and simple - wrong. Please tell me you don't have kids or plan to have kids.
And as for costing nobody anything, you are very wrong with that, too. SInce when is it OK to rip off people who rip off others? You some kind of Robin Hood? Nuff said. You obviously don't get it.

The nameless, faceless organizations are once again abused and people feel justified. Thats just wrong. I would assume from your comments that you probably also pirate satelite signal as well. And feel that your right for doing it.
Fraud is fraud. It's customer tactics like that which has ruined it for the honest others or causes policy changes that are a pain in the *** to the client and establishment.

IMO it never hurts the small store when suddenly a chain is advertising the hell out of a product they happen to carry.
It is the rare occasion that a chain store has a current model item that they are able to sell at or below the 'standard cost' any other store buys at. When this does happen - the item is usually a very entry level piece that the smart independent would not carry.
I've worked for a few independents and a couple of chains. When I was at the independent dealers we never had trouble selling against a chain.
