wow, kinda surprised by that one. Appeared to be a stable company. But I guess car audio is a tough business to be in.
Lots of cheap consumers out there who don't support shops anymore. Oh, but guess where the first place they go when they get their stuff from ebay and they can't figure out how to install it or they have a problem with it????????!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe their is some value to buying at a shop?

Nothing lasts forever...I've had my car audio heart broken before...we lost a lot of good brands in the 90's or had them change to flashy flea market fare.

they started to have other co make some of the HU so they could get into big box stores and still have a price point....it was a real bad move. the lost lots of small store and then they tucked tail and ran. i am with you green hornet. i always got my stuff from a retailer when i was the customer. and i suportedthem and the supported me. when i statred to compete in the mid 90's they would ask me to make shows around them and always took care of me. the the couldn't get to a show that would let them make nails and called me to have me drive the $25k stereo 9 hours for them and split the winnings now ebay is one of the first places they go

I heard about this yesterday. Warranty will still be honoured. The parent company of Eclipse, Fujitsu Ten, is not going anywhere. So everyone with Eclipse units will still have full warranty. I think I am going to buy up as much of the remaining inventory that I can if you ask me. The equipment is incredible.
