i have heard rumors of this tax thats going to come in to affect next year and its going to be like 40.00 per electronic item you buy is this true?

ya but thats out ragous. like say for 60 dollar cheap disk man now its going to be 100 dollars. so now your going to have to take in to account the tax if your going to go buy stuff. its gettin to be that you have to be rich to live in this world any more.

i highly doubt they will charge you $40 for a $60 diskman. that would be retarded and nobody would buy anything. 40% would make more sense, but that is still a very high number.

They'll likely see an increase in the theft of electronics both on a retail scale and private(house,car.etc)as well.

Never heard about it - you would think a "retailer" would know about such a tax.

I would say "no-way" that they would impose that kind of tax on electronics - but hey its the f***in government - who knows !!
