I was playin around with my amp when i finally decided to figure out the filters. befor when i installed everything for my component set of speakers i was under the impression that the crozzovers would filter out the frequencies by itself so i set the filter setting on the amp to "off" needless to say when i tried playin my music at a higherlevel the mids in the door would labour and i would have to turn it down....now i set the filter to highpass at around 55hz and the difference in sound and the the loudness level it can acheive is like night and day, at first i was impressed with my system, but now im blown away...this is my first system and i did absolutely everything myself so it took me longer to figure this stuff out, but i got around to it eventually....anyways now im happier then a pig is schit and i just wanted to the good cheer

fever your spot on, now with this adjustment i know what all they hype was about, they get SOO loud but remain clear as a bell and you would know as well as i do considering we have the same components. so yea like i said befor i was alright with em, they performend well befor but now there just monsters. and its perfect considering springs around the corner and ill be drivin around alot more often to the golf courses and what not...wish i would have figured this out earlier but better late then never.....
