Hey guys, does anyone know of a place or someone who has experience in inatalling one of these babies? Somewhere preferably close to me(Brampton) and won't charge an arm and a leg. This is going on a 95 golf glx 120amp alternator. Name and phone number would be greatly appreciated. Please advise and thanx in advance.

 

i have that exact regulator, most computer controled alternators it wont work on but if you have a "one wire" alt it should work......you have +(pos) -(neg) and field.......the alt should have a pos+ post and a field post and ground to the body of the alternator then just adjust the potentiometer to voltage!!

 

is it worth it to put in a voltage regulator in a car?

 

every alt has a voltage regulator, some are internal and some are external

 

wouldn't it be better to just get a high output alt with adjustable regulator... thats what I did

 

I love my Externally reg alt. Good purchase.
