Did you ever hook up the RF to the system with the cap in? If yes, then I don't suspect that the cap had anything to do with it, and you just got another bad amp...it happens. If no, then I would get the cap tested before it's put back in, no point in frying another amp!

no i didnt try the cap with the rockford. Its a pretty small amp didnt think id need it. I just think its weird that it works for 3 days and then blows up. Withint he first 2-3 hours after the install i had it tuned up and pounding pretty well, i didnt want to take it too high yet. I like to get it tuned professionally before i do. Then on my way to work today just listening to xm radio it went into protect, by the time i got to work (5 mins) its was off and the fuses were blown.

by the way what impedance were you running with the US amps? Is it possible that you wired te two subs incorrectly( too low a load for the amp)?

The cap is audiobahn yes.

Impedeance is not the issue, im just using one L7 Dual 4ohm in Parallel.

Have you actully measured the ohms on the driver setup. What is the actual impedence measured on a meter. If something is up with the voice coils this could be the issue.

did you try a different woofer on the us amp?, maybe the l7 is dipping a little to low as far as impedence is concerned, and maybe the us amp doesnt like it(but the rf amp maybe ok with it!), some amps are picky as far as impedence fluctuation is concerned, i have seen it before so you might want to look into that!!!!

I get 1.9 on the meter. or 3.8 on each coil. The us amp md2 is stable at 1ohm. Where the rockford is only stable at 2ohms. If if the impedeance wasnt correct, it shouldnt cause it to blow 3 fuses??
